Original German WWII Leather Mounted Pattern Bayonet Frog with Securing Loop and RBNr. Markings - Dated 1943 Percusion Muskets We were responsible for killingOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice "mounted pattern" genuine German WWII leather bayonet frog (Seitengewehrtragetasche), as used with the bayonets for the K98k and other service rifles. Sometimes called the "early pattern", it features a securing loop for the handle of the scabbard, which helped keep in place better. Some makers removed this later in the war, but others produced them with securing straps until the end of the war.
